FRIENDS

I pray for you

You pray for me

No Hello or How are you doing in between

Yet a stranger offers me a drink and ear

You are my friend, so I thought this was weird

I pray for you

You pray for me

No idle chat

No casual visits in between

I can be the self that you desire

But, the one by design does not match your attire

I pray for you

You pray for me

No Hello or How are you doing in between

Yet we are friends unto the end

….So long as all is good

….All is right

….Dare I shy from this sight

I pray for you

You pray for me

My homecoming day has approached

You greet people you don’t even know

--- sharing times of me of old

Or maybe you have chosen not to come

Afterall, why bother - my life is done

My spirit sees you cry for me 

….someone you no longer greet

….someone when down; you did not care to meet

….someone who calls out to you but you don’t respond

I pray for you

You pray for me

I love you

You love me

In good times….You are my friend!

Two many choices

     too many choices to choose

     1, 2, many

     One-to-many

     One too many

Two many choices

      too many choice to choose

Choose

     2- people

     2- stories

     2- views

     2- sides

     One Bridge

        that agrees to disagree

        and agrees to allow acceptance

    2- people

    2- stories

    2- views

    2- sides

    One Bridge

       that rights the wrong

       and erases the mistakes

        that makes the unwanted

             wanted

     2- people

     2- stories

     2- views

     2- sides

     One Bridge

         that makes the weak strong

         and strong invincible.

         By the way, the invincible

            always wins the battle 

     2- people: 1- body

     2- stories: 1- book

     2- views: 1-window

     2- sides: 1 whole

     One Bridge

        that bonds

        and bounds

        and overcomes

     One Bridge

         never
